Paradise Lakehouse was the perfect choice. We booked this property for a small family reunion. There was plenty of space and beds for everyone. The outdoor area is just beautiful. I am so glad I found this place. Everyone wants to come back to this location next year. You won’t be disappointed!

Cheryl Marble Falls

This is the second time we've stayed here with other families and we love it! The space is awesome. All of the amenities are great. Our only point to make is to somehow limit or control the flies. There are ALOT of them and if you cook or serve food outside it is hard to do so with so many of them around. .

We had a bachelor/bachelorette party in march 2014. It was the most amazing place I've ever stayed at. Even though the weather was a little chilly, we had a blast. The accommodations are perfect for a large group. The rooms were nice in size and the beds were great. Book this place if you want the best weekend event ever!

Hesitation Station

Hesitation Station was opened in 1939 as Texaco Station and store located in Buchanan Dam, Texas. Upon the completion of Buchanan Dam, the need for a gas station and a store of any kind that had groceries, fishing supplies and feed was apparent. In response to that need Carl McDonald built the Texaco Station by hand in 1939.

The Tamale King is an explosion of fresh, hand-made tamale goodness that has been ranked among the best Mexican food restaurants in the Highland Lakes since 1993. That's when Tim and Gina Chittim began selling tamales in the bars at night.
